The WLPA is a small community based charity, funded solely by membership fees and the generosity of our supporters.

We receive no government subsidies or grants and our office is primarily staffed by volunteers.

We campaign for the rights and well being of animals throughout the world.

The WLPA runs a 'no-kill' rescue program.

When you donate goods or money, you will be directly supporting animals in need.

Many animals now and in the future rely on our work.

Multi-award winning Maria Daines sings to save kangaroos

Maria Daines, the multi-award winning international vocalist and songwriter, is the latest person to join the European Union (EU) campaign to have kangaroo products banned from Europe.

In help the plight of our kangaroos and with the support of WLPA committee member Dr Teresa Buss-Carden, Maria has written and recorded a limited edition CD single ‘Killing Your Own’ to help raise funds for the campaign. To read more about Maria click here
