Ruby gets a loving Home
We
are delighted to inform you that Ruby, the three legged cat,
was rehomed last week. Following the amputation of her leg,
she adapted so well and came out of her shell so quickly
that we felt she was ready to go to a loving 'forever' home.
She was adopted by a lovely couple who had previously
adopted another shy, rescued cat from WLPA and had been
gentle, doting cat-parents to her. We knew they were looking
for another cat and thought they would be a wonderful match
for Ruby, who after all she has been through is in still in
need of special attention and TLC. They came to meet her and
all went very well, so they chose to adopt her.
Though Ruby has been adopted out she still has a lot of
rehabilitation ahead of her. Diane, Ruby's new owner, tells
us that Ruby is settling in remarkably well, is now purring
and also eating very well. Ruby has also struck up a
friendship with their big ginger cat, Boofa, who mothers her
and looks out for her.
